Activities of SAS
SAS is working with a view to,
-
- Taking various measures to deal with problems caused by natural disasters and climate
change;
- Undertaking multifaceted activities to improve the quality of life of the poor and
extreme poor people;
- Initiating training and income generation activities for extremely poor women;
- Taking relevant actions to resolve poverty alleviation, development of health and
education, and other socioeconomic problems of ethnic groups;
- Initiating necessary programs for fish farming, rearing of cattle and goats, creating
poultry farms, production of vegetables, potato and maize cultivation;
- Ensuring gender equality and social inclusion in the society by eliminating gender
inequality;
- Implementing provision of training and employment for people with disabilities;
- Undertaking training and programs on health, nutrition, housing, and WASH management for
poor communities;
- Undertaking cooperative activities to ensure the health and education of children who
are engaged in child labor;
- Undertaking training and multifaceted programs aimed at creating a smart Bangladesh;
- Taking various programs to improve the quality of life of the displaced population,
especially the refugees;
- Undertaking social awareness programs to prevent domestic and global diseases and other
problems including, population control, family planning, child marriage, dowry, drugs,
and others; and
- Implementing programs to prevent drought and create Eco-environment-friendly cities
and villages.
Future Program of SAS
SAS is looking forward to,

- Undertaking training sessions and awareness programs for the people on various disease
remedies and prevention of diseases;
- Organizing seminars, symposiums, and workshops on various issues;
- Implementing programs to prevent violence against women through online and social media.
